Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role will deliver a smooth flow of engineering materials for an aircraft maintenance input, operating within a pressured environment with reduced lead times, in order to achieve the scheduled aircraft return to service date. The role will be covering Procurement in Prestwick and Stansted, and require occasional travel to Prestwick.

Job Accountabilities

  • Expediting orders and ensuring just in time delivery to minimize aircraft delays
  • Working closely with the Stores to ensure suppliers are supplying the correct paperwork and release with parts
  • Maintain part availability whilst ensuring shelf life of components/material is not exceeded in line with customer contracts
  • Liaise directly with the customer to ensure highest levels of customer service and prevent delays to production within the Base Maintenance product
  • Review levels of inventory to identify obsolete or excess stock and take necessary steps to reduce inventory
  • Be the point of contact for the supply chain, directly liaising with the Operations Manager, Finance Team, Operational Managers and Stores Team
  • Other tasks as required to support an operational requirement
  • Manage current approved suppliers’ lists in line with KYC
  • Providing support and on job training when and where needed
  • Maintaining GSE equipment

Experience and Knowledge

Qualifications & Education:

  • Secondary school level educated
  • Excellent English in both verbal and written form

Training & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of EASA Part 145


  • Previous Aviation experience essential
  • Quantum experience an advantage
  • AMOS experience an advantage


  • A team player, but also able to take instruction and plan own day

You must have the right to work in the UK – Proof will be required at the scheduling interview stage

Shift Pattern:

Full time hours, predominantly Monday – Friday, with occasional shift work to meet business needs

Travel across the network is also required to support various corporate initiatives
