Storm Aviation

In today's cost conscious environment more and more airlines are keen to employ pilots that have self funded a type rating.

Our unique scheme provides airlines with a constituted Storm Aviation crew consisting of TRI and Cadet. The constituted crews fly together and are charged out at the same monthly rate giving complete cost control and manpower flexibility to the airline operation.

In order to ensure a supply of high quality, self funded pilots Storm Aviation has put into place a cadet scheme to assess, recruit and place students with its partner airlines.

A variety of assessment tools are used to measure the suitability of each candidate. Assessment tools include computer based ability and psychometric testing, airline interview and simulator check.

Funding for the type rating and line training is provided by the pilot. On completion of line training cadets go on to complete a minimum number of hours with the partner airline after which airlines are free to employ the individual on a full time basis.

Should the airline be unable to offer full time employment Storm Aviation will endeavour to place individuals with one of its other partner airlines.
